Yes I want to go home I hear these songs and lyrics real life situations the songs we write is about the way we live and yes the world keeps knocking me off my feet and I need to get sober, but it's not going to happen tonight the problems if this world keeps knocking me off My feet the want to go home cuts deep a mix of emotion's sadness wanting to be back where I fought to be and then anger and hert realizing some times we fight for a belief and people believing people but Truth they fight to keep you away knowing the Bible I don't fall for that it's religion but realizing religion is drove by greed these days the proff shows but my fighting to be where I'm not wanted really isn't the brightest but a fool in love is blind and believing everything because be make excuses for the ones we love because we don't want to see fault. But my point is Mr Oliver touched my soul with the lyrics I believe sit 7 should be against the law having no rules and playing with a mind 24/7 for years none stop no break head games by everyone isn't right but no we not getting sober today probably even more intoxicated the emotion's seems to over power any drugs.

Great song! As a redneck and veteran living in Honduras for most of my adult life, I've wtinessed many folks here living the words to this song. I'm not making a compairison. It is not to in anyway minimize the suffering of the poor in the U.S., rather it is simply meant that many folks in the U.S. south and in Central America are in rough shape and too pause a bit, before falling for the rich jokers pulling the strings and running screening operations by telling folks latter is the cause of former's problems.
